The Four UK Paedophile Politicians

Els quatre polítics anglesos pedòfils

The BBC scandal of the hundreds of raped children by Sir Jimmy Savile and his associates extended to two hospitals, a school for offenders  and even a mental health prison, in all of which Savile was given the keys. In those same years a paedophile ring was active in Welsh children’s homes but the judicial enquiry was limited to the staff and no outside names were allowed unless with previous criminal convictions. Thanks to the Savile scandal one of the child victims, Steven Messham, has announced that he will name the politicians who raped him in hotels where he was taken from the Welsh children’s homes. The politicians have threatened the media not to name them, but these are four names a brave lawyer has published:

Lord McAlpine, former Conservative Party treasurer. He disputes this, citing a dead companion, but in dubio pro reo.

Lord McAlpine, extresorer del partit conservador. Ell ho disputa citant un company mort, però in dubio pro reo.

Derek Laud, speechwriter for Thatcher

Derek Laud, redactor dels discursos de Thatcher

Peter Lilley, former Conservative trade and social security minister

Peter Lilley, exministre de comerç i de seguretat social

Michael Portillo, son of an exiled Spanish Republican, was Conservative defence minister

  1. I hadn’t heard of these further scandals – and involving such high-profile Tory politicians. I trust that they get their due punishments. At least in the UK, as far as I know, the notion of “prescripció” doesn’t apply.
