Monday 17 November we gathered 447 kilos of olives in little more than 4 hours and the same afternoon we had the oil from the mill. From tree to container in 3 to 7 hours. The harvest of the estate will now continue, but we already have our oil for all of 2015.
Dilluns 17 novembre hem aplegat 447 quilos d’oliva en poc més de 4 hores i la mateixa tarda estava molta. De l’arbre a la garrafa en 3 a 7 hores. La collita de la finca comença a partir d’ara, però nosaltres ja tenim l’oli de tot l’any 2015.

Varieties/Varietats: 70% sevillenca, 30% morruda
The oil will rest a minimum 45 days, so we shall taste it for new year’s day!/L’oli reposarà un mínim de 45 dies, així que per cap d’any el tastarem!

  1. What a coincidence! Tomorrow we’ll be driving to Tortosa, where on Friday evening my translation of Cristòfol Despuig’s Col·loquis will be launched – not that I imagine it will sell like hot cakes! It’s a splendid work – Despuig would certainly have voted Sí-Sí ten days ago. Enjoy the oil!

  4. Carai Vergés quin pagès més fi. Molt diligent i primerenc. Trobo l’acidesa una mica elevada, nosaltres a les Garrigues (Cervià , el meu poble) mai passem de 0,2º, i la varietat és arbequina.
